Bio —
I’m an industrial designer who just graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in spring 2024. Inspired by the outdoors, I bring play-informed design to life, creating designs that look beyond functionality, to also resonate emotionally with individuals. Empathy is at the core of my design philosophy. I value the connections I make with people and believe that understanding their stories is essential to crafting meaningful designs. I've been commended for my ability to connect with others, viewing it as one of my strongest assets that I bring into my design practice. When I’m not making shapes in the studio, you’ll find me making shapes on my bike, board, or in the garden.

4. Butterfly Structure


 
            The goal of this project was to design an aesthetically intriguing structure that could serve as inclusive architecture within the built environment. The concept is straightforward: buildings with unused exterior space could mount these collapsible structures, providing temporary shelter for those in need. Once the user is finished, the structure neatly folds back into the wall.
